Rotunda Test Equipment

The familiar Rotunda logo didn't merely grace the boxes of parts, accessories and car care products -- in the 1960's, when you took your Mustang to one of the fine technicians at your Friendly Neighborhood Ford Dealer for scheduled maintenance or repair, you would have seen a shop filled with only the finest Rotunda Automotive Test Equipment.

Rotunda Test Equipment came in two types -- portable lunchbox-sized models and larger floor/rack-mounted units.

During the mid-1980's, after a near two-decade absence, Ford resurrected the "Rotunda" name for a new generation of test equipment. Though these newer models replace the classic logo with a more modern "Rotunda Ford" label modeled on the Autolite and Motorcraft designs, it's still somehow comforting to know Rotunda equipment is looking after modern Mustangs just as it did for our classics.
