AN07EC280411965(?)Sep-6565A032D35Bert JonkerNetherlands6-Cylinder 200, PS, Rally Pac, Vinyl Top Purchased in 1972 from the original owner.
Interestingly, this car bears all the hallmarks of a 1965 coupe, including an apparently original 1965-style door tag, whereas Erik Brom's AN07ED34266, built just two months later, bore the 1966 style. (The exterior color code is stamped "03," lacking the "F" suffix seen on all other known 1966 models.)

AN07EK325911966Oct-6565AF06 (Desert Yellow?)566 (2.80:1)5 (4-Spd)Hennie LekDe Kwakel, Netherlands"I own the car for more than 17 years now and the car still resides only 15mls from Amsterdam. The car has run about 190.000 km, and still the original 289 with the 4 spd toploader. The car was some sort of desert yellow and I have changed that to nightmist blue years ago. It original came with a 2V 289cid, 4 spd toploader, 1:2.80 axle, standard 66 wheelcaps, 66 trim outside, only a 65 gascap, 66 interior, full console, rally pack and standard black upholstery. Most rare option was the standard and original ford sliding sunroof, this one is not in the car anymore as it was impossible to restore at the time (now I know how rare the car is I would have restored the car to its original specs)."Photos taken 24 May 2005:

7N01AFR524441967Oct-66     Eric AmbrosinoParis, FranceBasic body assembled in the U.S. on or about 6 July 1967 at Ford's Metuchen plant as "7T03A282865," then delivered to France.
(It is likely this car was assigned a VIN as part of the original French order, but assembly later outsourced to the U.S. factory because Amsterdam was not equipped to assemble convertibles.)
Buck Tag Info:

(Note the addition of the international VIN to the top line, while a line following the U.S. VIN, normally detailing the body type, color and trim, is apparently missing.)
